That he still has so many idiots and morons that defend him to the bitter end is utter madness.
We have half of the population that doesn't live in reality. That's a lot of people living in a dream world.

Give voters a Biden alternative that is not Trump next year.
The only Democrat that imo could be a potential winner in '24 is Joe Manchin. Biden may do so much damage to his party by then that they won't have a chance. Then again thought there would be a red wave last year too.

Manchin has articulated some good points in interviews that have favored Republicans and helped shape my thinking on some things. Seems like he'd be disliked by enough Democrats for that reason to not be able to win many Democratic Presidential primaries.

The lack of red wave surprised me too. Was my first time voting for Republicans. Maybe the overturning of Roe, January 6 and Trump's continued 2020 election grievance talk between the 2020 and 2022 elections had more of an effect on the vote than I thought they would.

You hit it directly on the head. Also many younger voters i.eGeneration Z are very much against the overturn of Roe vs Wade. With every passing year this generation will gain ground on the fading Boomers and influence elections very strongly.

The GOP plays to the Religious Right and the Boomers, both rapidly shrinking bases

But if not Manchin then who? Is there a well liked Democratic governor out there?
