Biden inviting "actual Hitler" to the White House after the election must have really stung for them. @PT Car Washer was last seen on this site on November 13, the day it happened.

So do most graduates.
How does society benefit from subsidizing tobacco growers, paying farmers not to plant their land or growing corn for ethanol?
Then why is loan forgiveness necessary for graduates? Because of predatory tuition and fees and loan interest.

The 2004 Fair and Equitable Tobacco Reform Act blocked tobacco growers from receiving federal benefits like price supports and crop quotas.

The federal government has long provided subsidies to farmers to support their income and maintain the country's food supply.

The federal government has subsidized the ethanol industry for over 40 years. However, some say that these subsidies have failed to reduce climate risks.

Now that you have the proper information, do you see how incoherent and disconnected your argument is?

Attended a private college back in 1976 through 1980 under the old GI Bill. Tuition back then was roughly 300 dollars a mouth, today it is close to 2,000 for an inferior education. DEI was a big deal with hiring and entering my old school and it shows big time with our current graduates. It has to change, way too many graduates leaving with massive debt and no real skills to count on.

With all the free money being tossed around the schools had no incentive to keep costs down. Amazing how many supposedly smart college graduates (or dropouts) suddenly get sticker shock when the see the bill.

Less than half of college graduates use their degree in their jobs:

  • Underemployment
A study found that 52% of college graduates are underemployed, meaning they work a job that doesn't require or use their degree.

  • Field of study
A survey found that only 46% of college graduates work in their field of study.

  • Job requirements
The Burning Glass Institute reported that the proportion of jobs requiring a college degree fell from 51% in 2017 to 44% in 2021.
Underemployment can have lasting implications for a worker's earnings and career path. For example, 73% of graduates who were underemployed one year after graduation remained so a decade later.
