President Trump

Not exactly. He never said crimes were committed. He did say:

"Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case."

My reading of the statement is that if Hillary's email servers had involved any of the following, crimes would have been considered committed:

"clearly intentional and willful mishandling of classified information; or vast quantities of materials exposed in such a way as to support an inference of intentional misconduct; or indications of disloyalty to the United States; or efforts to obstruct justice. We do not see those things here."

It hasn't been proven yet that Trump has committed a crime, and Cohen plead guilty to tax evasion and fraud charges.

If you instruct somebody to commit felonies, you have committed felonies. And you can bet there's rock solid proof that Trump did so since he was mentioned in Cohen's charging documents.

When in reality, it was Comey who on October 28, 2016, mere days before the election, went against the Justice Department's policy of not commenting on investigations close to an election by announcing that there were newly discovered emails that were potentially relevant to the Clinton server investigation.

That alone might have been enough to sway the election in Trump's favor in the couple states that were very close and gave Trump the electoral vote win.

Like Comey said in testimony to Congress last Friday, anyone who thinks the FBI sought to favor then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in an investigation into her use of a private email server is "smoking something.

clearly Comey was one of many Clinton lovers that thought she had the election in the bag

Except that in the emails that were turned over there were top secret documents found. Her having a private server conducting government business was a felony. Having top secret documents on it was a felony. Refusing to turn over 33,000 emails while under a subpoena to do so was obstruction, a felony. Having her aides who did emails with her smash their phones and blackberries was obstruction, a felony. Having her server wiped with Bleachbit to keep emails from being retrieved was obstruction, a felony. Who knows what would have been found in those emails. And yet y'all want to pretend Comey and his boss didn't cover for her. Absolutely amazing.

Oh I agree. I'm not a party loyalist. I just don't agree that Comey was trying to rig the election itself for Hillary.

If the Republicans have the evidence necessary to get a prosecution against Hillary going while they control all parts of government, they should. Drag her out of bed in the middle of the night and charge her.
