So here was trump trashing his own stimulus bill that his man munchin helped negotiate with trump’s approval. trump lets congress and munchin negotiate the bill and vote to pass it, then he comes out and says a bunch of false stuff about the what’s in the stimulus, says he doesn’t support certain spending when his budgets call for that spending, and he ends up signing the bills anyway. In the meanwhile his supporters humiliate themselves by pretending trump’s rant was proof of a great leader. Lol trump is utterly incompetent but he does humiliate his supporters regularly.

Yeah it’s massively delusional. But I remember when republicans used to love GWBush, the war on terror and the war in Iraq, they argued in favor of torture. Now republicans disavow all of that. This fate awaits trump. republicans in congress, their position on stimulus was friend helping people, we need to protect corporations in exchange for us helping Americans. This is their position, and even with trump pretending to want to send $2000 checks, they refused, and trump said ok fine I’ll sign the bills, the only people that tried to actually make the $2000 checks happen were democrats.

My wife and I talked it over and we donated all ours to people who were hurting because of the COVID.
All mine went to musical artists and their roadies or other musical support people.

Well if you believe my old Economics professors, increasing the debt will make credit harder to get for individuals and interest rates will rise. That clearly isn’t happening yet with the Fed monetary policy offsetting it.

Another drawback is that a lot of foreign countries will be buying T-bills and our tax dollars will be going to them for interest. I know from living in a state with massive debt that kicking the can down the road is always the easiest solution for politicians.

I will spend it at my daughter’s upcoming wedding on alcohol. We can all use a drink after 2020!

It is sort of like the Market Facilitation Program and Coronavirus Food Assistance Program checks we got here on the farm..don’t need it but probably won’t give it back.

The dollar amount to the people wasn't the big problem , it was where Pelosi and her group of idiot's wanted to do with most of the money . Like bailouts to major fu-- ups that can't budget their cities tax revenue and to help foreign countries and we are in no position to do that right now . As per usual the president is concerned about the United States citizens and Pelosi and maroon's are not !!!
