Ricoh GR II
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100

I've had the Sony DSC-RX100 III for 4 years or so. Many of my professional have this or a Fuji. Fuji are around $1200.

The Pani is nice for stills but excels for video.

The Ricoh is unfamiliar to me. It does not have an EVF (Electronic Viewfinder) as the other two do. Highly rated

Now your job is to find one at $500.
