I can definitely tell you they're not as bad as the liberal media tries to make them.

90 percent negative coverage in a time when the economy is smoking and americans are keeping more of their hard earned money.
You mean more Americans are keeping their hard earned money by borrowing it from future generations.

Because the sleazy lawyer is the best at what he does?

A dog ran into a butcher shop and grabbed a roast off the counter. Fortunately, the butcher recognized the dog as belonging to a neighbor of his. The neighbor happened to be a lawyer.

Incensed at the theft, the butcher called up his neighbor and said, "Hey, if your dog stole a roast from my butcher shop, would you be liable for the cost of the meat?" The lawyer replied, "Of course, how much was the roast?" "$7.98."

A few days later the butcher received a check in the mail for $7.98. Attached to it was an invoice that read: Legal Consultation Service: $150 .

A new client had just come in to see a famous lawyer.
"Can you tell me how much you charge?", said the client.
"Of course", the lawyer replied, "I charge $200 to answer three questions!"
"Well that's a bit steep, isn't it?"
"Yes it is", said the lawyer, "And what's your third question?"

A lawyer opened the door of his BMW, when suddenly a car came along and hit the door, ripping it off completely. When the police arrived at the scene, the lawyer was complaining bitterly about the damage to his precious BMW.

"Officer, look what they've done to my Beeeemer!!!", he whined.

"You lawyers are so materialistic, you make me sick!!!" retorted the officer, "You're so worried about your stupid BMW, that you didn't even notice that your left arm was ripped off!!!"

"Oh my gaaad....", replied the lawyer, finally noticing the bloody left shoulder where his arm once was, "Where's my Rolex???!!!!!"

Maybe the problem is that it may not be illegal.

Sometimes the outrage seems misplaced. Why is the leak a felony but the horrible behavior that is “business as usual”?
Leaking private financial records is a felony. What "horrible behavior" in your estimation rises to the level of a felony? Just because you don't like the guy personally or his policies does that classify his behavior as "high crimes and misdemeanors?"

As happened before the tax cuts. Now, as predicted by conservatives, the economy is booming, more revenue is coming in, just maybe we can start to get a handle on the debt if liberals don't start insisting we spend all the excess the way they did under Reagan.

you play right into the libs hands here. This story just broke , its already unraveling . But you like the libs have accepted the little bit of the story that has so far been presented by a very selective liberal media. let it play out and it will slide down the wall with the rest of the crap they have thrown against it.
And I get frustrated with partisans who are going to defend their side no matter what. If Cohen is clean it'll come out. But to automatically assume that this is just another politically motivated hatchet job is no different than many feel are the attacks on Clinton and Obama. It looks to me like Hillary did something wrong and should be investigated. But all I can go on is what I've been told. Same with Cohen. Trump is right, Washington is a swamp full of creatures who put their own interests above all others. I don't want those people involved in my government. No matter the party. I tend to believe that's more a Democrat thing because Democrats are so big into big government and high taxes to pay for it. But I'm not naive to think Republicans don't indulge in extracurricular activities also. Not interested in putting up a united front against "them." I want bad actors rooted out.

Trump only hires the best people. Why would he take on a sleazy lawyer to his team?
He's worked with Trump for a long time. Is known to handle personal problems for Trump. Unfortunately Trump does things that would be damaging to his "brand" and needs the kind of fellow willing to cover for him. Nothing new here. Trump is what he is, he's not a Boy Scout. Although now that girls are being allowed to join Trump would probably join if he were much younger. :)

P.S. I think the unraveling part is that this somehow tied Trump to a Russian oligarch. Doesn't necessarily absolve Cohen of any wrongdoing.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
You guys have not realize Trump ran a chaotic campaign where a bunch of people pretty much did what they wanted. They were all in it for themselves because they never expected Trump to win

Quit folding the tent, and drive the stakes back in the ground.
Nope, have just as much right to my opinion as you do. If Cohen is clean he has no problem. If Trump is surrounded by people looking to cash in while in Washington that needs to come out too. Can't talk about draining the swamp when you're swimming in it.

But the rewards come from winning. Trump wasn't throwing money around. Not a lot of largesse to skim from.

Cohen looks to be sleazy but he's a lawyer. Those pretty much go hand in hand. He may not have done anything illegal or even unethical (by lawyer standards) but certainly looks bad. Whoever leaked bank information undoubtedly broke the law. Plus Avenatti is an even bigger sleaze and has regularly been flinging crap hoping something will stick.

Understood on the opinion comment. You have the guy tried and convicted of no violation of law. We agree on most things, on this we don't.
