The truth is he was a deputy attorney general which is the highest post a career employee can reach. And he was right in the thick of things, working with Christopher Steele behind the scenes even after Steele had been fired by the FBI for leaking info about the dossier. Dossier created with assistance of political research firm Fusion GPS, where Ohr's wife worked. They should raid his house in the middle of the night like Manafort's was and put him in solitary confinement for weeks like Manafort was.

It is what it is. This is American justice. Not really surprised by the outcome. Not sure why the president and his supporters have been defending Manafort all this time but that’s their call.
