President Trump

you have to dig into a little deeper then just your normal DNC talking points.
basically the dems tried to rig some type of standard deviation formula to estimate post hurricane deaths.
in so doing if you lived in peurto rico and you died of cancer during that time then you were counted as a hurricane death.
You can read the study yourself.

https://publichealth.gwu.edu/sites/...ality from Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.pdf

We implemented the project as three studies, each with specific yet complementary methodologies. Our excess mortality study analyzed past mortality patterns (mortality registration and population census data from 2010 to 2017) in order to predict the expected mortality if Hurricane María had not occurred (predicted mortality) and compare this figure to the actual deaths that occurred (observed mortality). The difference between those two numbers is the estimate of excess mortality due to the hurricane.

No, not at all, work was surprisingly smooth today...it’s been hell on wheels with college move-in, but it’s ebbing.

I just wonder, does Trump legitimately believe that the PR response was A+, or is this a situation where his advisors keep the bad news from him and he exists in a FOX & FRIENDS / Hannity bubble and doesn’t have a clue?

He’s not a dumb man, so I think this is more of Trump following his mentor Roy Cohn’s playbook:

Deny, deny, deny, lie, lie, lie, repeat.

Muddy the waters, 2+2=5, confuse your detractors to such an extent that eventually your message will prevail.

It’s bizarre to me.

Think about it this way - when FEMA released their action report about what went wrong with their Hurricane Maria response in PR (plenty), Trump could have said this:

“Well, that was the biggest Hurricane ever, plus it was an island, their infrastructure was crap to begin with, what a mess, we tried our best but we were stretched thin that summer with all the disasters, you know how it is. But we learned a lot and next time will be better”...

Or something similiar.

All that’s basically true, and that’s a response the American public would have accepted.

Instead, he’s ranting about the dems...it’s just weird.
Are you sure that’s not your playbook you’re reading?

I agree it is a flawed study. I'm surprised you agreed with me.

What's flawed about it?

They just took how many people died that year and subtracted the estimated deaths from it and then called them all hurricane related.

Nope. That was just one part of the study. Read it in its entirety and try again.
I skimmed it, PR’s doctors don’t communicate well or have a lot of formal training in death certificates especially when it comes to natural disasters. (Socialist hellhole)

They also did a census type thing accounting for the population and it’s density, getting an estimate of death trends and predicting how many would die without the hurricane
(How they got their number to subtract from)

The other studies compliment what I told you.

They got an estimate of how many were going to die(a prediction of the unknown) without the hurricane. Then got information on how the death certificate process works there(finding it’s faulty during times of disasters). They also tried to account for displacement like people leaving before the storm and trying to get out of the worse areas.

They took the number they predicted subtracted the number after the hurricane and threw out that 3000.

It’s basically subtracting a prediction from a prediction and throwing out a prediction.

To be honest it wouldn’t matter if they said 200 or 500,000. Trump would still be the worse human being ever to people suffering from TDS, my prediction is at least a fifth of the US is suffering from that condition.

From what I’ve seen we did a good job sending humanitarian aide to them. Their mayor has some explaining to do and so does their entire socialist government. Bunch of tards blaming us they have no power due to their crap power grid or the supplies we sent were not distributed good enough another fault of their government.

The other side of TDS is the Kool-Aid Syndrome...

Those suffering from KAS will seek to minimize, discredit, or otherwise nullify any legitimate criticism of Donald J. Trump, no matter how big or how small.

Whether it was 2975 deaths in PR or not, it sure wasn’t just 16...attack the science, attack the sources, attack anyone who goes against the Donald...

Put the Kool-Aid down!
