If the brass in the DOJ/FBI committed crimes then they'll have the right to prove their case in court. You seemed ok with them stalling Congress for over a year on requested documents so if there's nothing to hide then they've got nothing to worry about.

What you're not seeing is it will never work because the guys who get the power are, and always will be, corrupt. There's no workers paradise and never will be because of human nature. No matter how pure you see your cause there will be others who just see an opportunity to gain power and control over others. As corrupt as you see the U.S. there is a system of laws in place that minimizes the corruption and protects the people from autocrats. And of course people will scoff at that but it's about as good a system as has ever been devised to allow the common man a measure of control over his life.

the american economic system is comparable to soviet system because all the power is centralized in corporate monopolies or whatever. you are not protected from abuses of power, oligarchs, corruption.

He may very well have something to hide and doesn't want Mueller poking around until he finds it. But so far Russian collusion isn't turning up as the president's problem, which was Mueller's mandate. Do we really want a special counsel for every president in the future trying to find something they can hang him on? Furthermore if people in the government were actively trying to bring down a presidency because they disagree with his politics shouldn't they be rooted out? Under the Constitution they are committing treason.
