The equivalent would be a low cost efficient health insurance. I think most able bodied adults would like that.Democrats came up with Medicare. Able bodied adults shouldn't need the equivalent of Medicare.

Where are you getting lost? I’m the employer, every year I weigh the value of offering employer sponsored insurance plans versus what is available on the individual market and what’s on the ACA exchanges. So far there hasn’t been enough value with employer plans, the younger drivers can get comparable coverage cheaper individually, but it may change this year with a tightening employment market. He probably does understand or have a feeling for the complexities, just a guess on my part.
Pertaining to the part in red, I thought you were the employer. Who is your employer and you have said ACA was not insurance. Can you square this circle for me. I'm just an ignorant 5 o'clock'er.
Too big for me but I would like to do it once.Have you did burning man?
I'm not lost, you mentioned the employer-employee scenario, in the 1st person, not as an evaluation for of plans for your employees. Do you pay for their health insurance. Straight to the point, yes or no?Where are you getting lost? Is that how you refer to yourself these days?Too big for me but I would like to do it once.
I like festivals of 5,000 - 10,000.
Hulaween had 20,000 and it was just too crowded ... especially for a handicapped person.
Is that how you refer to yourself these days?

Medically declared a handicap. Is that how you refer to yourself these days?

You must play a mean game of tennis these days.Medically declared a handicap.
I walk about 1/2 mile an hour without my rollator ... about 2 MPH with it.
I tried about three years ago and fell down four times ... haven't played since. You must play a mean game of tennis these days.
I'd be proud to call you a friend, ever consider moving to Florida? I don't live there currently but am a Native, and plan on going home to retire and die there.Medically declared a handicap.

Harden The Up
Used to tell a weak person or persons that they have become far too weak, and to prevent further embarrasment to the human race, they must Harden The Up.
1. I see that you are on the side of the road with a flat tire. What, you, a fully grown man can't change a tire yourself, and you're waiting for a tow truck? HTFU!
I cannot change a tire anymore ... I can teach others however.
I pay for AARP Roadside Assistance from Allstate the last three years.
It's a life stage.
Sounds like you’re lost.I'm not lost, you mentioned the employer-employee scenario, in the 1st person, not as an evaluation for of plans for your employees. Do you pay for their health insurance. Straight to the point, yes or no?
The programs you mention are the very programs that the right has fought against before and after their passage and are now being targeted in an effort to reduce a deficit that to the surprise of no one has been created by means of tax cuts 83% of which went to the wealthiest 1%. Now do you think that the 1% is going to give a rat's expletive deleted about what happens to you? Now the question is this: Are you or are you not going to apply for benefits under these programs. As a conservative just remember the conservative ideology: If you're nor rich it's your fault. If the limited means under which you will retire are not sufficient to live here in the states that's your fault. If you have not compiled sufficient personal wealth to live without the help of government sponsored programs....... It's your fault! That's the way your party and it's ideology sees it.The policies you keep citing were passed in a different era with a different Democrat party. The party you cling to is no longer your father's party. Has gone off the rails with far left socialist nonsense. I can point to the policies you bring up and say great ideas, glad your party passed them way back when. They insured that people didn't slave away for a lifetime and had nothing to show for it. I look at what's being passed off as good ideas today and I see idiocy that's designed to create dependency but will ultimately drag the country down. Is that what you support? If we can't all live like the rich we must destroy everything to get even with the rich?
No, that's just the way you see the Republican party. Everything you say is filtered through that prism. The programs you mention are the very programs that the right has fought against before and after their passage and are now being targeted in an effort to reduce a deficit that to the surprise of no one has been created by means of tax cuts 83% of which went to the wealthiest 1%. And vice versa! No, that's just the way you see the Republican party. Everything you say is filtered through that prism.
I made concessions that the Democrats have done things in the past. He never does. And vice versa!
Ok, just provide insurance for your employees, I found that one.... and because you are the employer, you pay your own as well. I'm smarter than you. I don't play games. Bottom line, you were looking for employer- employee plans. I asked you who was your employer... the answer would be... I'm self-employed. Bingo, we got that, pay for your own. Now considering your employees, instead of offering them a "benefit" in lieu" of higher compensation you send them to the ACA. Sweet. Tell me, am I still lost?Sounds like you’re lost.
Tennis is why my knees are bone on bone and covered with arthritis. You must play a mean game of tennis these days.
That's just because you are smarter ... he can't help it!I made concessions that the Democrats have done things in the past. He never does.
Kind of like 35 years on/off a package car. In hindsight I should have used my degree.Tennis is why my knees are bone on bone and covered with arthritis.
I loved tennis but if I knew what it was going to do to my knees, I would have played tiddlywinks!
