I'm so amused by the pro-lifers. "Oh we can (so called) "kill' the unborn. it's a sin.".....But it's perfectly ok for them to die afterward at the hands of disease, malnutrition, violence and neglect resulting from overpopulation and extreme poverty. Want an example? The latest caravan is from Hondurus an impoverished nation to begin which has seen it's population increase by 50% in just the past decade.
Correction: Can't kill. Either way banning abortion will invariably create a whole new set of challenges to the condition of humanity and the survival of the planet . Addressing them will bring pressure on the developed nations to find the money needed to address them and the option of abortion will become the exclusive domain of the rich and powerful.

The 14th amendment was originally passed to get around Dred Scott, granting slaves citizenship.
It was never intended to give illegal aliens a path to citizenship through their anchor babies. The proponents of the bill even wrote about it
Show me a law passed or Supreme Court ruling that states this. There isn’t one. It was set forth by the administrative state in the 60’s.

Anchor babies are unconstitutional and undermine our immigration laws.
What do you think the court decides? That the 14th Amendment applies to all those born in the US and that it is up to Congress to curtail it somehow? Or that the 14th Amendment does not protect certain people in the US and Congress would need to expand the reaches of the Amendment?
