In reading and writing blacks are at 44% of college readiness, whites 79%. In math, blacks are only 21%. Ready for college math, whites 59%. The source is the Brookings Institute.
The progressive left liberal teachers union absolutely sold out African-Americans in high school. The unions will never stop their terrible teaching methods. If you're that far behind, you need remedial work. You can't throw them into the class when they can't compete. It doesn't matter what color you are.
Why are the black kids in school not performing as well? 70% of African-Americans are born out of wedlock in the last three years. 30% of whites are born out of wedlock, a 40% gap.
That's why the kids in the African-American precincts aren't learning. Because there isn't a father there. Zero family structure. Personal responsibility is out the window because the kid never sees it, much less learns it.

The king of the left Bernie was up at New Brunswick last night stumping for King Murphy the Unaccountable who was touting " we got weed legalized" Universities and their radical professors are poisoning our youth. I just have to point to my son a Rutgers student who was locked up at 2 Republican conventions ,shot with rubber bullets in Miami, thrown out of Canada for protesting at the world banking gathering ,while his sister was serving in Afghanistan. Go figure !
PS. It is all good now he is a successful working person who leans right politically. His mother would not let him put a Trump sign on the lawn at the last election.
