The driver was hurt emotionally . Young guy. Just never seen that with the reaction in office. They all froze. This was a while ago though. Several vet guys talked to kid. As upsers that crap
is not kosher and screw people who do it.Where I come from a nagger is someone who's constantly on your case to do better, finish your work. Seems to be mostly the purview of women.

And yet when a white man says it it's meant as a derogatory term towards blacks. I have never heard one white man use it in any context except when speaking about blacks. I've never heard whites referring to other whites or to Hispanics that way. And no matter how hard a black works or what success he achieves there are some whites that resent that and will always use that term in reference to him. It's certainly possible to be critical of some problems in black communities without being racist. But using that term is racist. Trying to say it only applies to certain blacks won't cut it when you know most blacks find it extremely offensive for a white person to say. I don't want blacks looking at me and assume racism because I'm a large white male. And I don't want to be offensive to them either. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you is still the best way to treat people.
Sadly, some will look at you and think you’re racist just because you’re a white male. Just as racist in my opinion. and the black culture is rife with calling their women the B word each other, the N-word. I don’t think of women that way, or any people in that way, but apparently some of them think of each other that way, makes no sense to me. Seems you should respect yourself and others first if you want respect. That goes for all people.

How they act doesn't excuse how I act. They can call each other that if they like. They can hate me for just being white if they like. I've known plenty of blacks who've never indicated they had a problem with me. And plenty of them who were seething with hatred. But I'm not going to add fuel to the fire by calling them the N word. It's not constructive. And a sure fire way to get me labeled as a racist and cause doubt and mistrust among those who treated me with respect before. It's a tool used by those who know what kind of nerve it hits and they take pleasure in using it. Seems a change in their hearts is necessary.
Hating someone because of the color of their skin is ignorant. Disliking how someone acts is understandable.
I absolutely hate when I go through a line at the grocery store and have a black cashier act like she wants to spit in my face. I've had that happen quite a few times over the years. Yet the black cashier at the next register treated me like gold. It's a case by case basis. But when racists use the N word they in my experience aren't talking about a certain type of black. It's a blanket condemnation of a race they despise. Personally I'm done with all the racist tension of the South or anywhere else. I prefer to be in an area where I blend in and racial strife isn't an issue.
Crazy does that happen in Florida? I honestly have never really experienced that. Perhaps race relations aren’t nearly as bad here as there.
I think it’s more an Appalachian thing than a South thing.
It's not in your face all the time but it does happen. Was really bad in Memphis, southern Mississippi, and east Texas. The county in Florida I live in now once had a classic southern bigot sheriff. Had blacks in his jail turn up dead. Once shot to death several blacks he was transporting across state. Made international news and even Nikita Khrushchev mentioned it. A pregnant white woman was kidnapped from a supermarket parking lot back in the early 80's by two black guys who repeatedly raped her then stabbed her dozens of times. Race relations here aren't great.
I don't unless you're referring to whites being called that.
