Getting rid of the 22.4s will make EVERYONE a regular driver and on the same pay scale. 22.4s have less protections and a lower payscale and top out.

No short-term implications really. If you're not a driver now, you probably won't be for a while. We're overstaffed as volumes fall back to a level of normalcy, (in general) they won't be hiring for a while.

Long-term, you will never have to do the same work as a package driver for less money or fewer protections.
