If the catholic church wouldn't have continually burned people at the stake for different beliefs about the same God we would probably all be catholic right now and have no idea what the Bible even said.
Since the catholics couldn't stop killing people & stealing their $, a protest created the Christian church. The Bible was then opened creating more devout followers as well as more devout rebels.
The rebels of the book protested its heavy hand & created humanism, do what you wish - there is no God. We all came from monkeys anyways. The humanists are @ their peak right now & will fade away because they, as their predecessors are too heavy handed in their approach to winning converts.
The question is, what will replace it?
