Since the catholics couldn't stop killing people & stealing their $, a protest created the Christian church. The Bible was then opened creating more devout followers as well as more devout rebels.

The rebels of the book protested its heavy hand & created humanism, do what you wish - there is no God. We all came from monkeys anyways. The humanists are @ their peak right now & will fade away because they, as their predecessors are too heavy handed in their approach to winning converts.

The question is, what will replace it?

Personally I find most of your post ahistorical.

But to your question of what will replace humanism, I think as technology and artificial intelligence improve, transhumanism will replace it. If Singularity is actually achievable, God help us all.

I don't think anyone should have pride  or shame in an immutable characteristic.

I don't think people should take pride in overcoming shame if they shouldn't of had shame in the first place.

I already had protected rights from the teamsters. Most corporations already provide these rights and agree to treat all gays with respect. Most of society does agree with this and the law should be nothing more than redundant, if society is as you think it is.

I’m just finding it weird this is the hill you’re choosing to die on. I understand you from an originalist perspective when it comes to civil rights, hell I’ve made the arguments myself on here years ago. If you faced discrimination in the work place for an immutable characteristic I would have your back on that. Equality can be a toxic thing at times, you do not want equality of outcome, you do want equality under law and gays were denied that for a very long time in this country.

They were the only minority class to not receive marriage rights or civil rights until my
