Republican Rewrite of US Taxcode

What keeps amazing me is how republican voters just don't care despite their lies for years of "caring" or being "angry" about the deficit and the debt.

Hell, man this bill takes away fully deducting your local taxes, and gives a huge tax break to rich people. Like for real millions of republican voters will pay higher taxes because of this bill.

It's such a great bill they added 500 pages of it at the last second and voted on it in the dead of night despite having no deadline for the bill's passage. MAGA!

That's because what you stated is not factual.
Nice imagination though.

It is amazing how this bill was passed how it was written, and I'll add there are probably some "good" ideas in the bill. Maybe the corporate tax can be lowered, etc, but they lie endlessly about this bill, they are hiding it, won't debate what it actually does, and the primary goal is to aid rich people at the expense of everyone else that is how the tax cut is designed.

It is amazing that republican voters don't give a damn about any of it. But again I have noticed for many years republican voters don't give a damn about policy. Policy is not why they are republicans at least that what it seems to me.

I think it is factual. Where are the Taxed Enough Already people who were so angry in 2009/2010? Are they all dead? I mean all I heard was how we couldn't grow the deficit. The government shouldn't create bills that from the start add to the deficit. And not only does this bill add to the deficit. It is designed to raise your taxes in a few years and some people will see tax increases immediately.

Not to mention all the Trump supporters who hate the "elite". This tax cut was written for the elite. 62% of the tax cuts goes to the top 1%. Trump and his family will make out like bandits.

Again, if policy were the driving force then these things would greatly upset republican voters but they don't care.

You can see it in how they are celebrating this bill. They bring up Obamacare and yell "winning!" like a coked up Charlie Sheen. They don't know what the bill does, they don't care how it was written, they just care about the "win" of passing a law with a lower approval rating than HW's tax hike. The bill was passed as a gift to Republican donors, they say so themselves. It will hurt 99% of Americans but they think it's a win.

I know, it is a sight to see. It's like associating Al Gore with climate change. Till this day when conservatives speak about why they don't believe, they bring up Al Gore as if disliking Al Gore means anything. They do it with Obamacare, they don't actually hate the ACA and what it does, they hate Obama.

Yes, they like the bill ostensibly cause their team "wins", but then don't they hate Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan and the establishment republicans now they are on the same team? Well they love this tax cut. Don't they hate the elites? Well they love this tax cut.

I keep saying it, but policy is not why most republican voters are republicans.

Again, the reality is they designed this bill to raise nearly everyone's taxes in a few years just so they could give tax cuts to the rich. There is no way average republican voters want that, so what are they winning?

Lower government spending, see what happens to deficits then.
