P.S. If you wanted the Ukrainians to lose because you're angry that they were given so much then you're a Putin stooge.
Well, I cannot speak for everyone only for myself, but I never wanted Ukraine to lose, but I had no faith that they could actually win when the former US administration was only in it for their own self interest. I do not believe Zelinski is a great guy either, the people of Ukraine were fooled and used as pawns , and I feel bad for them.

Somehow, I feel Trump’s first victory against Hillary upset people in power because they wanted this Ukraine war a lot sooner. Even throughout Trump’s first presidency with the Alexander Vindman (strangely with allegiance to Ukraine) they decided to impeach Trump with a fake call doing nothing wrong , everything was to get Trump out so they could start this war and almost immediately after he was gone, and Biden was put in….bingo. The green light was given.

What I find interesting is the notion that Putin wants to start a bigger war with NATO.
Haven't these war mongers been paying attention ?
Putin has been falling short of the military's recruitment demands.
Why else would he need NK troops ?

NATO and especially the United States and the Biden administration knew full well that complete victory for Ukraine could never be achieved, without sending NATO troops or American troops NATO Nor the United States never planned on doing that.

Instead, we used Ukraine like bait To try and punish Russia or weaken them, but only for our own goals not really Ukrainians. We sent Ukrainian military men and civilians into a meat grinder while we ate TV dinners and watch TV. And maybe displayed that Ukrainian flag in a front yard or in our bio on social media. No big deal as the bodies piled up. we didn’t have any real skin in the game.

Now as the war winds down NATO slaps Ukraine on the back and says hey thanks for playing. See you later, buddy. Useful Idiots
If Ukraine didn’t fight back, why would Russia ever stop taking more?

Fighting back is fine during the initial invasion, like you say if you don't people will just take everything

But once a tempo is established that you can't win without sacrificing your entire male population, it's time to cut your losses and make terms

I hear ya, what you say makes sense, but at the same time I just don’t see why Russia would accept any terms at that point. They already broke their agreement of respecting ukraines independence in terms of Ukraine giving up nuclear weapons in the 90s, and we were a part of that agreement and said we would help them

Then they invaded crimea and then “stopped”
So this isn’t the first time Russia has taken some land and then stopped for a bit. Why wouldn’t they keep pushing? Especially after Ukraine shows “weakness” by stopping

I know it’s very easy for me to talk big in my , thankfully, safe country, but i also think it may be easier also to say they should just “give up”

How much of our country would we be willing to give up in an invasion?

Again though, easy for me to say, and maybe logically it does make more sense just to “give up” maybe that would be safer or save more lives, but humans are fighters, and when aggressors come in to your land and start a war to steal your land, it’s natural to want to fight back

Nobody told them they had to stop fighting. We don’t have to fund a war we know they can’t win. We were never going to send troops. It was just a meat grinder.

Again, that was a dumb agreement on their part and it does not leave the United States on the hook to indefinitely fund them and their war.
It was an agreement on our part to. May have been dumb but we made it

Hopefully Trump makes a good deal, get Ukraine in nato to put a hard stop on anything further and cut their losses I guess

I 100% guarantee they’re not gonna be in NATO and never we’re going to be no matter who was president.
You’re probably right, I’m pretty sure you normally can’t join during a conflict.

Just such a waste of money and more importantly lives

Well all this is going to do is show every other country they need to build nukes. Not a good outcome as Trump is trying to convince other countries that we should all stop building more

And if we stop helping Ukraine, I don’t see any reason why Russia will stop with what they’ve taken. Why would they?
