I would like to know what Local is charging a part-timer that. Sounds excessive.

Id say he recently gained Seniority and is paying weekly dues to cover his initiation fee. Not sure if they do that everywhere but its a one time thing here all new hires go through.

I don.t think my Union local charge an initiation fee for a low wage PT job with no benefits.

Im in 688 and when I started out on preload i had to pay a union due every week for around 2 months.
