you need to study the difference between Medicaid and medicare. medicare is for the old folks.

Medicaid has been expanded under Obamacare to provide lost cost insurance for low wage earners. the argument you folks have thrown medicare into has nothing to do with working for your Medicaid.
I believe he was saying Medicare needed to be earned, rather than given, by the elderly. I'm aware Medicare is for old folks. My point is that the Dems will give able bodied adults assistance such as welfare but if they can't have their way want to attack their own programs like Medicare. Why? Because by percentage welfare affects more minority voters while Medicare is available to everyone. They can't leverage Medicare, but welfare secures the minority vote.

You can have a block grant of what you paid in over the years to help purchase your insurance.
I pay for insurance.....through Health Net Inc. It supplements what Medicare doesn't cover. When your bills exceed $40,000 a month........I don't pay anything, just my monthly ins. payments. No co-pays etc. It's a 'cadillac' plan.

you guys started the discussion speaking about people working for their Medicaid and ended up talking about old folks working for it. at that point I think its time to get back on topic . Medicaid is low cost insurance for low wage earners. able bodied folks collecting their Medicaid should be willing to earn it.

We need to rethink that the old have "already earned theirs" as well.
