The part I like about the self check out is there are no mistakes.Usually the cashier makes mistakes and overcharges or rings up one more of something, or the price is bad.
I caught a couple bad prices ( higher than listed ) and was able to remove.

Not making as much money swinging from the poles as you used to huh?

When Walmart gives me a considerable discount for using self checkout. I will use it.
Last time I checked, I don't work for Walmart.

I can go faster using the self checkout than if I go through the regular one. I utilize my skills from scanning bulk stops and also my old preload skills of haphazardly throwing things as fast as possible. No cashier could keep up with me.

Typically I'll go to the lane that gets me out the quickest. But I do avoid self checkout at Wal-Mart since they don't allow cash anymore.
