That is a good question. You are referring to hub employees. Have not heard anything about them working or not. My guess would be a few working the twilight sort to process all the closed business and pick ups.

Not until 2018 at the earliest, it is in the contract. Will the payroll system even allow an option day entered for that time?

I may be wrong but It is my understanding that you will make straight time. Not time and a half plus straight. It will be a normal workday. Like i said I could be wrong.

The central is double time if you're a full time driver.

Ups says its a normal workday. All that means is we will deliver ground and make pick ups. It doesn't mean we don't still get paid holiday pay.
I will be paid 8 hours of holiday pay. Plus double time for all hours worked that day.
