Apparently you are new to the company
Haven't you died yet, grandpa? Leave some inheritance for the kids already.
Zapmail?What are e-docs?
No strike is going to last year's or months.....one day off costs the company millions of dollars. E-commerce is too crucial to society today....I bet the strike wouldn't last more than 1 week if thatTransfer...at the bottom of seniority
The people that don’t work again don’t get any benefits. Therefore everyone is not feeling the same pain. Going into mgmt. (which I highly doubt I would do) would be after a strike if there is no chance of working again.
What would you do if 15-20 drivers above you are all laid off for months, maybe years?
But the repercussions can (and has) last for years or decades. No strike is going to last year's or months.....one day off costs the company millions of dollars. E-commerce is too crucial to society today....I bet the strike wouldn't last more than 1 week if that
Which repercussion are you referring to?But the repercussions can (and has) last for years or decades.
Losing accounts!Which repercussion are you referring to?
The repercussions from contract concessions will and has lasted for decades. But the repercussions can (and has) last for years or decades.
You’re so smart. The repercussions from contract concessions will and has lasted for decades.
Which concessions are you referring to? Where will ups be in 10, 20, 30 years or even 50 years from now?The repercussions from contract concessions will and has lasted for decades.

That's exactly why the strike wouldn't last more than a few days.Losing accounts!
That is exactly why ups has lost market share and has less ft jobs than it should. That's exactly why the strike wouldn't last more than a few days.
And ups is willing to risk that??? That’s why imo the union has an upper hand here...I’m not asking for the bank here but we shouldn’t sell ourselves short either..But the repercussions can (and has) last for years or decades.
They have always tried to be the fortune 100 company with more pt jobs than anyone else... nothing new ...That is exactly why ups has lost market share and has less ft jobs than it should.
It’s unbelievable how busy we’ve been the last few weeks. A local UPS contact said they’re down 18%.
I have no idea how much of it will go flooding back to UPS once the threat of a strike ends but I do know X is interested in giving those customers a reason to stay. The longer the uncertainty, the longer the opportunity.
Does anybody know if the pilots are going to back us IF we have to strike?
