That depends on the cards we are dealt. Most never get to totally retire anymore. Plus I never expected to fully retire. I'd go nuts not working. So I'm good with it.That would be stupid.
Well If we get everyone to work until they are 70, that could solve the central states pension problem. Silver lining?I’m tired of trying to get some of these guys to start a 401k. I’m going to laugh at them when I leave this place and they have to work until they are 70.
I’m betting it wouldn’t help it.Well If we get everyone to work until they are 70, that could solve the central states pension problem. Silver lining?
Ya when money gets deducted from my paycheck I take notice. They're supposed to give notice before that though so I could opt out.Yet somehow you noticed?

Everyone is living in fantasy land. That pension isn't going to last.I’m betting it wouldn’t help it.

The fund is paying out way more than what's coming in. Nobody wants to make any cuts. It's been swept under the carpet for too long. Its been explained to me before that any form of investment, retirement or otherwise, is a gamble in and of itself. You win some, you lose some

Too little done, too late now. No way to save it, we can only prolong its demise. The fund is paying out way more than what's coming in. Nobody wants to make any cuts. It's been swept under the carpet for too long.
