Strike one… Carol is the first outsider to become a CEO at UPS. Strike two… Carol is the first woman to become a UPS CEO. Hopefully UPS will learn from their mistakes soon!
Actually, Scott Davis was the first outside CEO at UPS. He joined UPS in 1986 when the company acquired Oregon technology company, II Morrow, now UPS Aviation Technologies. He had served as the Chief Financial Officer and then CEO of II Morrow. He became CEO in 2001.

The obvious end goal is to get rid of Teamsters, can't do it by next contract but contract after? Think we should dig our heels in the next contract because it might be the last we have leverage

Top 55 out of 350 here have FT seniority dates pre 1994. Good riddance, beat it. Get a hobby. Let someone else get a good start time. Kick rocks. I hate to say it but they’re losers with no life outside of UPS.
Pre 1994? That’s not even that long ago. I started in 1991. I don’t have enough full-time years in and I’m not even old enough.
