Teamster Buyout?

There’s more to life than me giving the best years when my kids were young to this company and then leaving without getting everything.

This job is a piece of cake now compared to when I was in my 20s. I feel bad for some of the 20-year-olds because I remember how it was. This job is way more mentally intensive than physical. We all get used to the physical. It’s not easy to sit and see that truck day after day when life is happening and you can’t do anything about it except try to get done ASAP.
Absolutely, the company just hosed me this past Saturday. If it was in my first few years it would have been the worst day ever. Cursing and throwing boxes. But experience changes you, I just laughed and drove around in circles making quad pay.

Thanks Carol

Yep, when you reach that point, there’s really no stress at this job anymore. Sure, it’s still physical but oh well we’re used to it.

Shh...It’s peak and I’m hunting logic
5 x 35 =175. That is one year for a feeder driver. There may be 10 drivers across the country that were not already out the door who would take that!
