The Buyout is an Extra Contract agreement and a violation of the contract.
Accepting the buyout is a violation of the collective bargaining agreement you are working under.
That's not what Article 6 states. Article 6 states anything which in any way conflicts with the provisions of this Agreement.
The buyout does not conflict with any provision in the current agreement. It is also voluntary. If you don't like it, don't do it.
The buyout does not conflict with lay off language. You are not being laid off.
The buyout does not conflict with seniority. They are going by seniority.
The buyout does not conflict with any work rules of guaranteed hours, wages, OT, etc..
The buyout does not conflict with retirement and pension. You keep it.
The buyout does not conflict with resignation or quitting.
The buyout does not conflict with disciplinary procedures.
The buyout does not conflict with employee management relations.
I could go on and on. Let's make it quicker. What provision in the agreement is this buyout conflicting with in order to classify an Article 6 violation?
You can't just say it violates Article 6 because it is an extra contract agreement, because that is not what Article 6 states.
