A part time job at UPS is in a whole different category than the average Walmart Greeter...it was designed that way for a reason. Get cheap manual labor without no real reason for them to stay, pension is a joke. Nobody is going to hang around for that, besides that when you decide (generally 5 to 10 years) to become Full Time under the IBT/UPS Pension Plan those years as a part timer pays peanuts. Both are subject to a 6 percent penalty if you do not hit those service requirements of 25, 30 and 35.
Or 62 years old

Just got told by both my steward and business agent that drivers in progressions and 22.4s will only receive the yearly raises, NOT the GWI.

This video needs to be edited or something, that us gonna anger a lot of people as it misinforms them

Who aspires to work part time forever lol. Pt is for students and second incomes. Not a living wage. It’s not a different category at all.

I mean 22.4’s transferring to rpcd.

And there I meant progression raises. For example, a 12 month seniority 22.4 will be moving to the rate for a 12 month rpcd of $24. There will be no gwi on top of that like this is claiming
Why does it really matter. At the end of the day after your progression is over you will be at top pay. At least there is no more 2 tier driver. At the end of this contract we all be making $49 an hour. With no Overtime at $49 an hour times 52 weeks that’s almost $102,000 a year.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
Point your steward and manager to the first section of Article 41. Tell them @Just A UPS Guy said to eat a d••k.
