But we aren't talking about Canada. Look at the dollar's value in say 1923 and see how much it would be worth in 2023. That's inflation. There are government inflation calculators on the internet.

And I just looked it up. A dollar in 1923 was the equivalent in purchasing power to $30.82 today.
