“So, that’s a WOW!” CNN’s John King reacted on Tuesday after Joe Biden lost to “uncommitted” in the Dearborn, Michigan primary election.
Biden's bigger issue is going to be that an uncommitted/no preference vote is going to feel like the right thing to do for a lot of us who are voting in Democratic primaries this year. Not a good sign for Biden in November because we won't be marking our ballots (or showing up) for him.
They won't because everyone can see with their own eyes and hear with their own ears that Biden needs to go. Anyone who says they think Trump is a threat to democracy and points to Biden as the guy who's going to save us from him just looks foolish.
Good point but in every poll Biden gets 30 something percent approval. There are diehards as demonstrated on this forum who'll never admit he's a problem and will dutifully show up to vote for him to stop Trump and the MAGA crowd.
The men can be women and women can be men crowd would likely also prefer to keep the Democratic Party away from moderate Democratic candidates who are still mentally with us and might try to steer the Party back toward planet Earth on certain issues in order to increase its appeal with more reasonable and pragmatic people.
How long until both the Republican and Democratic parties split into multiple parties because one group can no longer abide the other?

Already happened to the Republican Party which is why Republicans can not govern.
Would be interesting to see the US Congress become more like the multi-party parliaments of other countries.
You know of a separate party with their own nominee?
Coalitions would have to be formed to be in power and get anything done.

Republicans can not even form a coalition inside their own party.
I know it's a difficult concept but we're talking about multiple parties. If the Republicans can't form a coalition with other parties then they'll be out of power. See how that works?

If he did I didn't notice it on a mass scale until he was already on his way out of office. Did really take off in 2016 when Trump's election triggered a lot of people and Zoomers were also entering adulthood. Leftist afterburners were definitely turned on in 2020 and they've been on ever since.
