Would it have been necessary had one party not passed the deregulation or NAFTA giving power to the other party that they say is against us in the past 40 years as O’Brien said? Fixing something that your decisions. broke isn’t a great deal of help. Just a couple of items that seem to get overlooked when the people that broke something swoop in and say “hey we fix this now Make sure you give us all the credit for the good.”

I think we have to face the uncomfortable truth that a lot of our jobs at UPS are directly linked to NAFTA and other free trade deals. We move a LOT of stuff that’s only being shipped because it’s cheaper to manufacture overseas over the last few decades. It’s been a huge boon to our business.
