It's just a fact. There was always a risk that holding him accountable would backfire in an electoral sense. Doesn't matter to me even if it does.

This man broke the law and it was apparent to a citizen jury when presented with evidence of such. He's a criminal and is in the middle of being accountable. Lucky for him he has the resources run down every last legal loophole to delay the process playing out.
