All the more reason to not leave it alone. This young lady is a perfect example of the fallacy of being a leftist. She claimed 125 grand on law school didn't break her but 3 grand on birth control did. This was her shining example of why I should pay her to have sex. It's the perfect example of the idiocy of the extreme leftists. It doesn't matter you can get birth control much cheaper than three grand a year. All that matters is that I should pay for whatever she wants. Pelosi was made out to be a fool by this young lady. They really should have vetted her a little better. They probably could have made a more valid argument without all the sob sob emotional stuff but if they would have stuck to facts I suppose they probably would have had no case to make.

It also made the pres. look the fool by calling her.....................it's not like she was a "Rosa Parks/back of bus" moment, but O looks for any opportunity to pose for posterity. He's just so frustrated to find something, anything to put into his presidential library besides his Nobel Prize.
He never called Sara after she was called much worse also by a broadcast baffoon.
Somebody is going to have to explain something to me. The right insisted that this was a freedom of religion issue. That is a defensible point. But then Rush walks right into this mess about "slut" and "prostitute" and the next thing you know, we have the folks on the right tripping over themselves to defend Rush. Now how does calling any woman a slut and a prostitute advance the freedom of religion case? I would say that it doesn't and the sooner they disengage, the better off they will be. Of course, that will mean eating a bit of crow, so this will probably continue on ad infinitum
Thats the problem BB. They dont know that they shouldnt have fired the first shot in the first place. The GOP with RUSH's help has chosen this hill to die on. Just read some of the more aggregious posts defending RUSH. They use the same "verbage" that was never used by FLUKE and replaced by RUSH.
You have some saying that the numerical cost of birth control somehow corrolates to the number of sexual episiodes women have in one year.
This issue is simple to understand. In 1964 , the civil rights act was passed. TITLE II of the act prohibits discrimination based on RACE, RELIGION, COLOR or National Origin. This "TITLE" prevents an employer or company ( now considered a person by the US Supreme Court) from forcing his/her religion onto employees who are NOT of the same faith.
You cannot discriminate against employees who are not of the same faith of the employer because "their" religious beliefs dont coincede with the employer. Just because an employer is a catholic doesnt mean they can FORCE that belief onto its employees.
This isnt a case of religious freedoms, its more a case for a theocratic rule by the republicans, since they are the new moral gauge for the USA despite the numerous instances of depravity.

It is more of a freedom from tyranny issue. It is true that some people view religious oppression as tyranny. The longer this issue is kept on the front burner the better it is for those that oppose tyranny. It may even become the rights 1% issue. Someone that can afford Georgetown law and has that much of an entitlement mentality becomes such an easy target.

This post shows a disturbing lack of knowledge even for an extreme leftist. It's kinda sad you are not the Solicitor General. I am not sure if you think that Georgetown has the only law school in the nation but they do not. I'd like to see a ruling that supports your claim that a student is an employee. I'd also like to see your proof that the private insurance plan offered to her by the university was the only possible private insurance plan she could possibly purchase. I'd like to see some type of proof that anyone forced any belief on this woman and additional proof as to her mental weakness you are now claiming she has. I won't hold my breath.

Nothing in this country is BUSH's fault if your a GOP supporter. Everything was fine under bush. Lollipops and Gumdrops until Obama took office seems to be the excuse but history has it differently. You can fool yourselves over and over if it makes you feel better, but that wont win an election.
