So now you are claiming that she testified that she didn't want the government to force her insurance carrier to pay for her contraception? Talk about flip flopping.
Well, let me say first and foremost, that I accepted the terms handed to me for my participation on this board. While I will repeat that I believe all thoughts and ideas should be fairly represented without moderation, this is not something I wish to debate. I understand and believe there is a complete double standard in application of thought policing on this board but it is what it is.
My larger point is simple. If people on this board believe that RUSH LIMBAUGHS speech is protected and unharmful, and that he has the free right to denigrade anyone he wants, then they should also support my position that I should be able to post in a similiar fashion to RUSH on this board without moderation.
Its a double standard to support speech like RUSH LIMBAUGH and then call me vile or vulgar. When I post , I try to get to the facts and throw in some humor to get a "rise" out of the readers. I dont Hate anyone on this board and respect their many conversations. While I disagree with the majority, I also take the time to look at what they post in case there is something I am missing.
AS to my moderation, there have been a few stories on RUSH that were NEVER approved or posted.
I think that this demonstrates my point. A recent post was edited for a personal attack, yet, I didnt complain about the edit and I dont think what I wrote was an attack. I posted two stories on RUSH losing more sponsors and they never got posted. Each post contained no attacks and no references to other members, yet was unposted still.
If my stuff is being edited or deleted then I am being treated more harshly than LIMBAUGH according to those on this board who believe RUSH is being treated unfair. A private playground or not, why cant there be equality.
Since I dont have the ability to save a post, I cant possibly copy and paste any examples of what i submitted to review, and I think you know that.
Either way, I am not complaining. I accepted the terms and agree that I must face a higher scrutiny then anyone else on this board and RUSH can denigrate women he knows nothing about, without responsiblity for decency and with the full support of those on this board trying to protect him.

Please demonstrate in her testimony where she used the word "RECREATIONAL" or "frequent sex"....
Then we can be on the same page. Anything else is a mischaracterization of her testimony.

My impression was that she testified that she wanted the government to mandate in the form of regulations that insurance companies paid for birth control. Guess what? That's exactly what she testified that she supported.
Now you want to use the word "IMPRESSON"..?? I asked you to show where she used the word "RECREATIONAL" or "FREQUENT SEX"
Pretty simple question.

Your First Amendment rights do not apply on private property. This is Cheryl's forum, she owns it, she pays for it, so she gets to make the rules about what is and is not appropriate and we can either follow those rules or take our paticipation elsewhere. Rush Limbaugh....(who I personally find to be a revolting right-wing chickenhawk) made his comments on a radio show that he pays for. He is entitled to his First Amendment freedom of expression, regardless of how disgusting you and I might feel about it. If we dont like it, we dont have to listen to it.

This is exactly the king of mis characterization that is taking place with the issue birth control. Lets say a woman who has 5 kids wants her tubes tied just in case there is an opportunity to have sex and she doesnt want to get pregnant. She may never have sex again in her life, but she took preparations to protect herself in the event she did.
This has no suggestion that she is going to have frequent sex or recreational sex at a rate higher than normal.
That explanation is a stretch of the truth and a great point to make to women ( of sexual activity age) who even consider of voting for the right wing candidates.
The birth control pill is also used for many other uses for womens health. Simply saying "$3000 OMG thats alot of sex" is a ridiculous statement and more a ridiculous assumption. This is the kind of talk that got RUSH into trouble.
Taking a mole hill and turning it into a mountain. FACT: If a woman is on birth control pills, that does not mean she HAS TO or is GOING TO have sex. The pills need to be taken daily regardless of the amount of sex or frequency.
Its not like Limbaughs VIAGRA that he needs to take each time he has sex with a prostitute, thats completely different.
I dont know how you can equate a daily prescribed pill and the associated cost with a "frequency" of having sex. Thats just plain silly talk.

The Limbaugh Show is undergoing a market correction. Sorry, but someone that backward cannot experience a teaching moment. Rush talks at listeners and lectures about what is "right", from a Cro-Magnon WASP perspective. He seems incapable of learning.
ALL THE MORE REASON THE GOP SHOULD HAVE LEFT IT ALONE. SAME WITH RUSH. IF he says nothing, We would be saying today Sandra who??
