Naw hospital expansion has been happening for decades. Similar to university and college campuses who have bloated regardless of WH politics.
Still no reason to tax good insurance, and no reason not to divide pension allocations equally.

Actually from my research we need to attack the pension survivorship breakdown for spouses I hear. No one points that out. We should get full payout regardless without tiered penalty.

You are basically buying insurance. About $1000 a month reduced payout for me, 50% monthly for spouse.

Most pensions are similar in regards to survivorship benefits. Some plans allow you to return to single payout status if you spouse dies first.

There are so many ways to improve our pension benefits besides extra monetary contributions.

Eliminating or reducing that spousal deduction offset would be one.

Reducing any further healthcare co pays is another.

Reduce those 6 percent penalties for everyone who doesn’t qualify for a service pension would be a big victory.

All these changes can be done, particularly in the Western. UPS doesn’t have control over those funds, unlike those under the Central.
