not far for a rifle, but not close in the normal sense

if he'd zeroed his rifle properly and taken a center mass shot Trump would have been toast

FBI said 2-300 feet, not yards. Now it sounds like it was more like 130 yards. Still way too close for a rooftop with line of sight.
