You probably buy products from countries that use slave labor as well. So by logic are you saying you don’t care about slavery? If it got brought up to leave slavery up to the states in America, and people opposed it, your argument to them would be “you buy products from companies that use slave labor so it’s ok”?
Never said I didn’t. You bring up a subject that means absolutely nothing for this day and age. Really try something new.

If you can’t see the relationship between state rights and abortion and state rights and slavery then I don’t know what to tell you.

I just know if slavery was around in America today I wouldn’t be comfortable leaving it up to state rights, I’d be trying to get it banned altogether

Definitely a bit of trolling from Trump but Gaetz is already sparking fear and panic at the DOJ. Someone badly needs to clean house there and he is a good choice for doing that.

if the corruption within was based on partisan motives then how does he clean it up with out it being a partisan vetting?

does he fire an innocent republicans for every crooked democrat just to show he is bipartisan?

The Civil War was never about slavery. A "revised" 13th amendment passed in December of 65.

Elon will be exiting soon as donald can't stand anyone else who's much richer than him getting too much attention (Melania included). Then if Elon dares to criticize, he will become the most "overrated person ever".
you guys never worked the corporate world so you don't maybe understand whats going here.
Trump is using the corporate board of directors approach here.
he realizes he only has 2 years maybe 4 years at the most to accomplish everything.
he realizes he has to delegate and he cant fiddle friend around waiting for people to figure it out.
so he's brought in people to the board with special insights and talents to help him get it done.
Elon on the other hand is one of those guys that needs to be challenged constantly.
this assignment will suit him until he gets bored with it and moves on to a new challenge.
Elons frustration will come when the brilliant ideas he and Vivek come up with get bogged down and buried in politics.

The quote you’re using, from the corwin amendment, was never ratified. It has nothing to do with this discussion. The 13th amendment abolished slavery, it took away the state rights angle to slavery

the 13th ammendment is a bit redundant -

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”.

That’s ok, but like I said, by you saying it should have been left up to the states, that does imply you disagree with the 13th amendment, because the 13th amendment directly goes against the states right issue for slavery
