Majority of Americans want socialized police and firefighting, and as of recent the majority of Americans want socialized health care as well

Y'all love to talk about police and firefighting as if that's socialism. When the day comes that the government controls business and everything is centrally planned, and it all goes to crap, you'll then realize what we were talking about. Big government isn't the answer to everything. I thought as a libertarian who doesn't want the government to have too much power that you'd get that. Socialism is giving the government too much power and it is inefficient and ultimately dangerous.

Obamacare made insurance too expensive for everyone but the really poor. The problem is we can't go back to before without putting the uninsured poor into the same bind and I don't think most want that.

Just not on board for healthcare, I just brought up the majority of Americans want socialized health care, around 60% last I saw. And republicans talk a lot of crap about Obamacare and Trump has said he’ll replace it with something better, he better get moving fast before the midterms while they still have complete control

You're equating government with socialism. There was law enforcement and fire brigades long before there was capitalism. Services for the common good has always been a thing as long as there has been civilization. But central control of everything as economic policy started with Marxism. No matter how attractive it might sound to have everyone equal with no poverty it doesn't work.
