He was rich before probably
nope. Biden had significant debt before he became vice president He made his money while VP and through his presidency - this quote from open secrets

  • Biden has not spent any of his own money on his campaigns–but then again, it doesn’t seem that he really has the personal finances to do so anyway, at least not compared to other members of Congress. In 2006, Biden was among the poorest members of Congress. He may have been in debt by as much as $302,980 or worth as little as $278,000 (in their annual personal financial disclosures, lawmakers report the value of their assets in ranges). In 2007, his finances didn’t get any better. Last year he could have been in debt by as much as $320,980 or worth as little as $215,900.

Those images of top secret documents in his cluttered garage said it all. Face it he was not the sharpest tool in the tool box even when he was in his 30’s…study his history…

Tried to argue that free speech caused the Holocaust today.
What a freaking idiotic statement. Yeah the Nazi party who was burning books were very free speech

Censorship is a slippery slope. Even if there is a president in office who I like who bans speech that I don’t like doesn’t make it okay. The government should not have that level of power

This type of :censored2: makes me want to do a nazi salute in the middle of Times Square just to show that I can and should be able to

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

I think the branching off of liberalism into leftism is probably a byproduct of too much screen time and subversive social media. Which probably often do cause mental illness.
I’ve heard people differentiate between liberalism and leftism and never understood what they mean, can you help me out?

Sure. A liberal is me. Someone who believes that common sense doesn't have to be thrown to the wind in order to promote progressive values. There were lots of Democrats like me 20 years ago. We've been pushed out by the leftists because the Democratic Party doesn't want common sense. Which is why Trump won in November and why his favorability numbers are what they are right now.

It can help also explain as to why so many pro union people would vote Trump even though it hurts their labor interests

I thought, and I’m sure many others do, that a liberal was more left and woke than a leftist.

Wasn't it inevitable though? When you have the liberal premise that we're going to "progress", doesn't that lead to every group outside the mainstream demanding equal time? You start out with the big things like civil rights, women's rights, and once you get that you start looking for other grievance groups for their votes. Progression becomes digression. The Democrats have "progressed" into supporting males competing against female athletes, sharing locker rooms, parents mutilating their children, demanding proper pronouns, teaching revised history to attack whites, stocking school libraries with pornographic material. Even having the gall to suggest paedophiles are just "minor attracted people." All of this is the fruit of extremely liberal professors planting the seeds of indoctrination for well past 20 years. Combine that with a service economy without the opportunities of the past and you have young adults seeking change. Young adults who will be and are now in positions of power. I don't think Trump being reelected ended this. Probably a temporary speed bump.

Yeah, I think a big issue is a lot of people take pride in having struggle or being oppressed, and sometimes certain people almost look for things to complain about

It’s like gay rights. All for it. Transgenders I support but I know most this site doesn’t. But then you see there’s like 5 extra letters and symbols after lgbt and it just hurts the cause and make people kind of give up
