Have a seat right here and we’ll find out. The last four years have hurt workers and the poor among us.
So what's the plan? Tax ourselves into prosperity? Strongarm billions and trillions of dollars of widget makers back to our shores? We have just above a 4% unemployment rate right now if I'm not mistaken. Who are they going to find to work at all these new factories that will definitely only take a couple years to set up?

Farmers are going to feel the pain because of retaliatory tariffs. Workers will feel the pain. Consumers will really feel the pain. Depends on how long this all drags out.

I think it's hilarious in some way. Trump is mad about his own trade agreements he struck with our neighbors.

The Trump administration is weighing dropping sanctions on Russia. I guess he wants to do business with them instead of our closest democratic allies?

I’m pretty sure he was upfront and honest about being a tariff man during the campaign. People voted for him. You’re gonna have to relax and see how it plays out.

Hey man, I'm just a curious onlooker at this point myself. I don't care. I have 20 years until retirement, hopefully we don't destroy the global economy for decades.

If we end up having a huge recession and deflation then we'll get our cheap gasoline and eggs along with our layoffs and bread lines. I have plenty of cash on the sidelines anyway.

I'm ready for a recession anyway. I'm tired of all these hours at work. The Biden years wore me out.

“Have fun!” Trump told U.S. farmers about to experience higher tariffs.

Have fun indeed. lolololololol
How bad what’s the other option for this to happen? Just let it sink in what a terrible option The other side was, and they knew going in what they were going to face. And they felt it was justified and worth it by a huge margin even more than the first time.

“Farming-dependent counties rallied behind Trump with an average of nearly 78% support.”

“The poll by Farm Futures, the Farm Progress brand that serves the nation’s largest farmers and agricultural producers, asked, “If the presidential election was held today, would you vote for President Trump?” Some 75% said yes, a figure significantly higher from the 60% who said yes to the same question in 2018 just after the China trade war began, and 66% who said yes to an identically worded question in 2019.”

So. Tariffs. Word of the day.

Why not go big with full 25% tariffs on energy? Why only 10%? Doesn’t this expose this plan’s fatal flaw and weakness?

Who’s ready for an old fashioned trade war?

Out of the frying pan, into the fire.

That is quite possible, but as you know, the other option had lost their minds so people turned away from them.

If I was a Republican and if hated Democrats, I would hope the party has the attitude @Next Day Err has because it cost the Democrats the election and will cost them many more down the road because they refuse to look in the mirror and figure out what was wrong with their messaging and policies.
