Russia isn't going to take on NATO. NATO was formed when there was a Soviet Union with 375 million people and a much higher industrial capacity. Russia is much smaller in population, much weaker. It just has nukes. Even if the U.S. pulled out of NATO the remaining countries would collectively be much stronger than Russia. Especially now that Sweden and Finland have entered NATO. Poland also isn't a slouch. But let's use the boogeyman approach to keep the war machine humming.
