Damn...
I wish I had...
A basement...
To go hide in...
I would disappear for a couple of months...
After I looked like a idiot...
PT is still in the basement...

“Thank you” is a common term people say when they’re shaking hands and being polite with others. Doesn’t have to be for anything in particular other than thank you for coming tonight. Thank you for being here.

I wasn’t bringing up him thanking the guy.
I brought up Trump’s perspective of himself and a court he personally packed.
He views that as his Supreme Court.

“Trying to divide us”. Bud you’re divided, you are supposed to be divided. You picked people that are supposed to do a job and got confirmed by the senate to do a job. Not to view it as your court.

He didn’t need to come with false pretenses of signing the deal did he? Did someone force him to say he was going to sign the deal and then make a spectacle in front of the cameras? I guess it’s how you look at it and I have no allegiance to Zielinski or Ukraine. They’re asking us for something we’re not asking them.
It was a demand for minerals. After Ukraine has already given up their nukes when that was demanded of them in exchange for protection. So they are asking for something already promised to them that has been repeatedly denied and ignored for going on a decade now, you finally give them the weapons to fight and prolong the war but only enough to put them in a desperate stalemate only to turn around and bend them over a barrel for their natural resources.

Well some have spent the morning think of Trump. Then spent the afternoon thinking of Trump and now it’s bed time and still thinking of Trump. I have some more great news for you all.

For once I agree with you. He thinks he’s a worldly scholar.
Just a nobody living in a trailer
Sigh, I live in a 2800 sq ft brick house on an acre of land on a lake just outside The Villages. And unlike.you I try to give opinions on various topics. Not looking to attack everyone who knows something about something like you do.

Interesting you assume Trump’s view of himself and say he “packed” the court? Replacing Supreme Court justices that have retired or died is not packing the court. And they’ve ruled against him just as many times as they ruled in his favor..

Ukraine already got what very little was promised. There is no more obligation on our part.

“The Budapest Memorandum is not a treaty and did not reflect any new international legal obligations for any of the signatory States. Rather, the Memorandum was meticulously drafted to avoid giving any impression of legal obligation.

For example, both during the three-year negotiation period and in the drafting of the Memorandum, U.S. State Department officials insisted on using the term “assurances” instead of “guarantees” to describe the security commitments. Although Ukraine initially framed its request as seeking security “guarantees,” the United States wished to avoid this term as it “implied a deeper, even legally-binding commitment.”

“Furthermore, the Memorandum does not use the terms “agree” or “agreement.” Rather, it refers to all commitments as “reaffirmations,” which suggests not new pledges but rather reiteration of prior commitments. These features of the Memorandum and the context of the negotiation more broadly demonstrate that the signatory States—at least the United States and Russia—had no intention “to be bound as a matter of international law, such that non-compliance would amount to an ‘internationally wrongful act’” under the international law of State responsibility. Even the Trilateral Statement”

“Finally, the operative paragraphs of the Budapest Memorandum refer almost exclusively to Ukraine only as an object of the commitments, but never as having obligations. (The one exception is paragraph 6, which states that the signatory States, including Ukraine, “will consult in the event a situation arises that raises a question concerning these commitments”). This further undermines any effort to characterize the Memorandum in legal terms or to refer to it as an agreement (legal or otherwise).”

“The Memorandum is also important because it reminds us of the important distinction between political commitments and legal obligations. When negotiations began, Ukraine “sought legally binding guarantees from the [United States] that it would intervene should Ukraine’s sovereignty be breached.” Although it was forced to settle for less, Ukraine nonetheless has sought to frame the Memorandum in international legal terms, including perhaps by registeringit with the Secretariat of the United Nations in 2014 for inclusion within the UN Treaty Series (although the Treaty Series includes not only treaties but also “international agreements”).”

Trump pointed out to Zelenskyy at the recent press conference that Obama gave Ukraine sheets while Trump gave him missiles. Thanks for the above as every liberal out there has tried to frame it as Trump has reneged on an agreement we had with Ukraine to defend them if they gave up their nukes.

Really? Post the links. Congress is posting what has been going on. DOGE is posting it. There are libel laws you know. So show us who is debunking what?

Guess it’s time to to delete PBS too, right?

Looked at that. They make claims but don't discuss the specific things DOGE has found that large sums were spent on. Elon Musk has already said they may get things wrong sometimes and will work to rectify that as soon as they become aware. Another issue that's not addressed is that former Congressman, Lee Zeldin, who is now head of the EPA, found in an audit that just before leaving office the Biden administration parked $20 billion of EPA funds in an outside bank with the money to be distributed to just 7 NGO's, some newly created. One was run by none other than Stacey Abrams of Georgia. Heard $7 billion went to her NGO. This is a loophole to distribute money to people who were part of both the Biden and Obama administrations. And will very likely lead to people being charged with crimes. Your Democratic Party is corrupt to the core and is desperately trying to keep the country from finding out. Too late, genie is out of the bottle. If all of this leads to people being charged with crimes then I fully expect that the Dems will scream that the DOJ has been weaponized against them. After what they did to Trump and members of his administration, after allowing protesters in front of conservative justices homes and raiding the homes of abortion protesters and Trump supporters, all I can say is karma is a bitch.
