Don’t even have to send our troops over there. We could have provided Ukraine with the weapons Russia was threatening nukes over if they got. Let Ukraine defend itself for real, instead of this half hearted measure. Ukraine could be striking Russia in Russia with weapons provided by the west.

Yep, the deal that was offered would’ve gotten some of those minerals for us and a fairly large degree of security for Ukraine. American interest over there in Russia decides to mess with them that will be a problem for Russia.

One could argue that the nukes and warheads were not Ukraines to keep; just like the Black Sea fleet.
Ukraine was a launch and storage location for the the ICBM's and related warheads/munitions because of its proximity to Europe.
They either gave them up for big $$ from Russia and other offers they could not refuse or Russia would have come and taken them.

We bribed them (Western Europe) post-World War 2 to give up their larger armies and territorial ambitions in exchange to be able to grow their economies through mutual cooperation. We provide most security oversight and the European continent stayed peaceful for the first times ever over multiple generations. We have benifitted in an enormous myriad of ways. Russia and others would love for that system to break apart so that they can divide and conquer over time.

i would say the europeans are ruining themselves just fine without our help.
In england for instance ( there are other similar examples) they have a migrant crime problem . the media hides it. if you talk about it on social media they throw you in jail. Once the "travelers" take over GB and impose sharia law we wil have one less country in nato and plenty of division for the russians to manipulate to their benifit.
