Problem is that she knew Joe was a cognitive mess. Even ran some high level meetings for him. She's willing to skirt the Constitution so has no business running for anything. Not that doing so seems to bother the Democrats.

Just remember, another democrat president will be in there eventually. Plenty of people would have argued for Jan 6 defendants being sent to El Salvador torture prisons as well
Really scares me how divided this country gets and how easily we throw out basic rights to get the other side

Plenty of the January 6 people deserved to be in jail, they did not deserve to be in jail for four years without trials for many of them. And some of the sentences were ridiculous for some of the things they did. When the government goes over the top people tend to not trust anything anymore.
