He'll always have some defenders on the right since he and Candace Owens are buddies.
Really don’t pay much attention to any of that I know my kids were pretty into his music some years back. I’ve listened to him talk a few times and he seems somewhat intelligent. It’s clear there’s mental illness.

Just started playing last year's "Vultures 2" album to see what I think.
That’s his most hated album, the general public hates on everything he does now but even his hardcore fans hated it

I actually liked it though lol, thought it was a fun album, curious what you think but not sure what your style is though so if you don’t like it not a big deal, not for everyone. Honestly I like all of his stuff lol, he’s always changing it up

The only people who possibly did something illegal is the Trump administration officials talking about military actions on an unsecured platform

Yet you have made most of the focus on the reporter who was invited to it
No, I did not. It's a national security issue. The reporter shouldn't have been on the text circle and they need to determine how that happened.

For the millionth time, that platform is already loaded on to their government phones and it's approved for their use. Now if an investigation shows that it can't be securely used then yes they should ditch it.

I do. Should cut back on the political stuff.
I’m probably coping being a fan but I still think he’s got something up his sleeve, lol.

He’s a marketing genius. No doubt about it. How many other celebrities can you think of that have been discussed by so many sitting presidents? George bush, Obama, Trump. Not favorable words obviously, but still impressive lol

“Soon as they like you, make them unlike you” one of his lyrics, makes me think he has some goal with all of this stuff, if nothing else to prove to himself he can still be successful with nobody’s help

It’s on their phones for simple conversations and to coordinate with eachother to talk further on more secure platforms. There’s a reason the Biden administration told them to use it “very sparingly”

Interesting take although it seems like you might be overthinking it. All I see is someone destroying his career. Although he’s just the kind of guy that might think that’s a good idea as he might be tired of being Ye.🤷‍♂️

exactly, and that’s what happened, which is why it’s a big deal. Yet you’re continuously downplaying it and arguing with us who are bringing this exact point up
No, you're focused on this particular text message instead of the breach in security. They have to determine what happened and how to insure it doesn't happen again.

I think a Kanye/ @rickyb collab might be some nonsensical fun if he can ever make it into the US.

Thats an interesting thing you bring up, because he recently changed his name from “Kanye west” to “ye” and always corrects people on it. Says it’s from the Bible with ye meaning “you”. Maybe he was tired of being Kanye, interesting

Another thing people don’t really discuss much, and I try to give him empathy for. 2 things

1. He had a severe car crash where he had a very severe head injury and broke his jaw and lost all his teeth. This was early in his career, but severe head injuries can cause major personality changes and difficulties later on in life

2. He was extremely close to his mother. She was his rock and he loved her, she was his biggest supporter, he made songs dedicated to her, he loved her. He ended up paying for a surgery for her once he became successful, and when she was recovering at home after, his cousin was supposed to be watching her, but he left, and she ended up vomiting in her sleep while on her prescribed pain meds and passed away. I can’t imagine the trauma and guilt he goes through with that

One of my favorite songs of his he wrote for his daughter, and he said he feels his mom speaks through his daughter from heaven, the song was written from his moms perspective

Didn’t know about his car crash. And I certainly can’t relate to that as my son had a severe car crash and head injury. And yes, it can change your personality. And they don’t even understand why or why they’re doing it.
