Electric cars are pointless if Republicans are elected president?
its ok to support electric cars just dont try to use tax dollars to pick winners and losers.

Just pointing out that while Republicans might have changed their minds on electric cars, the Democrats have changed their minds on electric cars in a far more extreme way.

So it’s funny when a Democrat points out that Republicans have changed their minds on electric cars.

Yep, when I find a reasonable need and it makes monetary sense to my budget, I’ll happily buy an electric vehicle until then I could care less about all the green nonsense. Tax credits prove there’s a very narrow market for these.

the problem with the credits i think is dealers price the car that much higher

I don’t know that greenies think electric cars are the panacea or that it matters if right wing dictatorships destroy everything else.

“someone called out, “Save us, Elon!”

“In the ladies’ bathroom after his remarks, one guest said that she meant never again to wash her hand: she’d touched Musk.”

Yes, a lot of Americans go across the border for dental care.

On another note, the cartels pay people on this side of the border to carry fentanyl into the States. But it's the cartels buying the ingredients from China and processing them into fentanyl that results in a lot of deaths in the U.S.
About 20+ years ago (after I had lost my dental insurance for us) my wife decided to have some MAJOR dental work done. She was quote close to $9,000 here locally. She had already planned to visit her mom in Arizona so while there they went to California and crossed the border into a little town that specialized in dental work and pharmaceuticals. The dentist all lived in California and had their offices in Mexico (for tax purposes I suppose). About $2,000 later she had all her dental work done-- the same stuff she was quoted $9,000 for here. She still gets compliments from her dentist here about what a great job they did in Mexico.

Probably Los Algodones near Yuma. Loaded with dentists that do great work.

That's it. I know my mother-in law really liked it because on the American side there was a casino to stay at :-)
That's an Indian casino. Spent the night in their parking lot once. Planning on going to Algodones for some dentures if I stay in the States. I had a root canal in Colombia once that cost about $170.
