The Trump Election and FedEx

I don't know about your terminal but our FedEx propaganda TV at our station pushes the Democrat agenda all day. I would like to come to this hell hole without having to be exposed to leftist propaganda and politics.
You don't say? Then why was Fred S at Trump Tower today?

The country voted for a majority of Trump electors.
Whatever makes you feel better. The people spoke through voting and were not heard due to an outdated voting system that obviously does not represent the people. But I for one am ready to end this great divide. Trump does break the norm and I hope he can do something to get us on the right track and help us middle class folk race to the top and not the bottom. But I'm going to hold off my opinion until I start to see some of his policies in action. I hope for the sake of all of us he proves the majority wrong.

The country voted democrat. The electoral college voted republican.
The country voted primarily Republican in governor races and state legislatures. And they kept control of both Houses of Congress after the media led us all to believe Hillary would easily win and they would most likely take the Senate and possibly the House. Trump didn't win the popular vote, but he didn't get clobbered on it either. And I didn't hear the Dems complain about the Electoral College before the election. The system is fair, and is designed to make sure all states matter in the election, not just the largest states that in some cases are overwhelmingly liberal. Want to win? Campaign in all states and convince the flyover folks, which liberals tend to dismiss, that you are working hard to improve their lives. And all this after the whipping Dems took in 2014 suggests voters want concrete answers to their problems, not social engineering that may help some, but often at the expense of others.

Just busting your balls dude. Like I said I hope for all us he's great.
In deed . that's the responsibility of all Americans. We have to give him time but as I said earlier if he can't make good on his boastful and unachievable promises the nation will turn on him as quickly as it did many of his predecessors .

Like any human being focused only on their own self preservation you are only interested in the legislation that helps you and you alone.

Clinton wanted free college tuition, amongst other things. Achievable with our debt? Sanders was promising the moon and then some. Achievable? Trump wants to work towards a better economy where what you get out of it depends on you. Of the 3 which is most likely?

Nope, I want a country where my nephew and nieces can have a future. I want a secure country where we do everything possible to reduce the likelihood of terror attacks. I've already earned my little bit, am not the least bit interested in the biggest house in the best neighborhood. If it was up to me we'd have cities that are walkable with great public transportation. And affordable. The reason things are overpriced, IMO, is so many are trying to get rich and nothing satisfies them. Which is why housing, food, medical, you name it make it so difficult to just get by. Nice things are nice to have, but shouldn't be the be-all-end-all of our existence. But if you enjoy chasing your tail on this merry-go-round have at it. I'm getting off.

Don't you find it the least bit ironic that the city you just described is seattle.

Lived there for a year. Beautiful when it's clear, but not affordable.
Any city with an abundance of high paying jobs is expensive. King county just approved a mass transit light rail going to multiple high density work locations coming from high density suburban areas outside of the city. Where its more affordable but still very nice.
