Theoretical Question

Suppose a driver went to a regular stop that had, say, 25 pieces, took them all but just scanned 10 and got rid of the rest? Would there be any way to prove the driver received them all? Or if the driver claimed they never saw them, would that be the end of it ?

As far as UPS goes:

A business that ships that much out probably has cameras on their dock. If not, probably no way to prove exactly. But where did they go? Are they being stolen? Is someone meeting the driver to pick up the packages causing dead time? Or are you just wondering how easy it would be for a Fedex driver to steal packages?

But if someone took everything, especially docs, and left, there’d be no way to prove it if the driver put some in a black trash bag and tossed them into a McDonalds trash bin somewhere.

Just have to remember that cameras are everywhere. Shipper might have a camera there and show the driver loading all the pieces.

I know pieces miss scans at stations and ramps/hubs but missing multiple from one stop? That seems to point at just the origin station and probably the driver.
