Yep. We’re caught in the middle. If O’Brien doesn’t get a huge raise for part timers, Amazon workers will ignore the Teamsters.

If we strike, it is because O’Brien wants to show Amazon workers what a Union can do for them.

O’Brien even said this goes beyond UPS. We are caught in the middle and may pay a huge price for O’Brien’s strategy.

Calm down: Two factors that may be driving this Contract, both from the Feds..

February 24, 2021....Biden's meeting with Executives from UPS, Fedex and others in the transportation business over their responsibilities covering supply chains. (No Interruptions...Period)....

December 8, 2022...Passage of the PGBC bail out with Central States and other underfunded pension trusts.

Those two might be tied together.......Who benefited from the Central bailout besides our current retirees? Remember that UPS was still on the hook from their agreement to cover any reduction with our retirees prior to 2008. Maybe the feds made a deal they couldn't refuse, make a good deal with this contract or we will unleash HELL on you and your little dog too...

we're all just cattle for the financiers one way or the other
What is your solution? Since the industrial revolution we haven't had new idea.

Communism? No.
Socialism? No.
Capitalism? Half bad but what is the alternative?

Let me remind you: British East India Company. Dutch West India Company and Dutch East India Company.

UPS doesn't go to the bank and asks to borrow money. UPS has to go to Wall Street to offer Corporate Bond for sale. That is how any companies raise money today!

If I worked for Yellow, I would load trucks if it meant keeping my nice paying, union job. I get paid by the hour.

Companies use three methods to build capital. Retained earnings, debt capital or equity capital are typically the three most common.

It’s really not that great of pay, some of those guys have been there 20 years and only make $26-$27 an hour. Many years with no raises. And it’s not just loading trucks. They want to let contractors take their work.

the solution is to keep the banking class regulated all to hell while allowing maximum liberty for the rest of the economy
