Here’s a law Governor Phil Murphy and hopefully soon to be Governor Steve Sweeney worked on:
Striking workers can now get unemployment benefits in New Jersey
The law stems from Verizon and Taj Mahal casino strikes in 2016.
And maybe fight this battle a little harder. It’s becoming the rule not the exception and will destroy unions in the long run. Freeloading right to work Janus ass pussylickers.
Opinion: Celebrate the freedom and prosperity of Utah’s Right to Work law on Labor Day
Right to Work laws leave the decision of union membership and financial support where it belongs: with each and every individual worker.

Looks like the Republican governor vetoed the bill while the democrat lawmaker is advocating for it
Democrats may not be perfect, but when it comes to union issues they seem to be undeniably better than republicans, who are enacting “right to work” laws, who the teamster leadership themselves say is meant with the purpose of bankrupting unions

Politicians are supposed to work for the people. Not corporations.
They currently don't do either.
I would ask that you dig into why it was vetoed. They always try to sneak stuff in the back door. You shouldn't vote yes on something that helps a group and within the same document it takes away a lot of rights from people.

It was voted no because Chris Christie was one of the most anti worker/labor governors known.
Chapter 78 is one of the worst laws passed against labor. Mandates that public employees pay up to 35 percent of their healthcare premiums. Supposed to curtail raising taxes, but that never happens.

Go and read the whole thing. Instead of talking points. How many pages was the bill? I know just trying to get you other folks to read the whole thing. I know it will take some over a month at least, but be a big person and read it.
Also how would they be able to put together an over 1000 page bill in just a short time?
