If I didn’t have a job At ups then I just wouldn’t get the ACA. They stopped giving fines for not signing up since 2018, so what’s the downside with doing that?
That's fine if you're young and healthy. I had a heart attack and double bypass at 60. Fortunately the local hospital system is a nonprofit and they forgave over $107,000 of the bill. But there were a bunch of medical services involved that were from outside the hospital. I'm just now getting caught up on them and only could because my Social Security kicked in last year giving me enough income to get them paid. But in the last year I've had a number of issues that racked up thousands more. So hoping to pay that off by the end of the year. My dad covered those and I'm paying him back. When I took retirement at 55 I was hoping to make it to Medicare without needing insurance. But I didn't.

Today should be even worse. More tariffs go into effect Wednesday.

Meanwhile there are still illegal Venezuelan gangs and Haitians eating dogs?
Also, transgender agendas in our schools?
What happened to groceries, housing? Homeless? Nah!!!
All that was fixed. Where were you?

I dunno. 1 man putting tariffs on the whole world seems like an abnormally retarded situation that could keep markets headed down for a while.
Depends on how dependent various countries are on the U.S. market. Vietnam for example talked to Trump today about dropping their tariffs. But it's definitely a high risk game he's playing.
Well, good luck to Vietnam.

Peter Navarro says Vietnam's 0% tariff offer is not enough: 'It's the nontariff cheating that matters'

4/7/25

“White House trade advisor Peter Navarro said Monday that an offer by Vietnam to eliminate tariffs on U.S. imports would not be enough for the administration to lift its new levies announced last week.

"Let's take Vietnam. When they come to us and say 'we'll go to zero tariffs,' that means nothing to us because it's the nontariff cheating that matters," Navarro said on CNBC's "Squawk Box."

The examples of nontariff "cheating" cited by Navarro included Chinese products being routed through Vietnam, intellectual property theft and a value-added tax.”

Ah, ok. Well hopefully Vietnam and all of the other countries will stop cheating too since removing all tariffs apparently isn't enough.
